The first nine days of the London 2012 Olympics Summer Games have delighted some and broken the hearts of others, but as always the event viewed worlwide via live or television being enjoyed ceremoniously as countrymen cheer their athletes as they perform in London with pride unleashing euphoria and sadness to competitors

In the events performed so far at the Summer Games the leading countries in medals have been USA and China who have been a race for the #1 rank, these two countries have been giving this event a back and forth battle for the most medals in many diverse categories providing many highlights and must see performances by the absolute best from around the world that after 9 days the medal count was the folowing:
